Positive connotations of phone

It was on the warm, beautiful morning of my 20th birthday. The rising sun and the chirping sounds of the birds added joy to my heart. I walk up from my bed thanking God for his blessings showered upon me. Soon after getting fresh, I heard my phone ringing. I was so happy to hear the sweet greetings of my loving mother. I was separated from her due to my responsibilities in studies. The sweet ringing arose the heart-touching memories of my beloved mother. So I felt my phone to be my love messenger. 

Neutral connotation of phone 

There was nothing unusual with the pleasant morning of the day. I just wanted to reach my friend within an hour. So I arranged all in a while and was about to leave. Suddenly I heard the crying of the phone aloud like a baby for his mother. I walked towards the phone to answer it. It was my friend who said she is at the hotel waiting for me. Immediately I rushed out of the house. With the thoughts of my sweet friend waiting for me at the hotel, I left the house. 

Negative connotation of phone

I was fed up at the end of the day as if the whole troubles of world wrapped me. Neither the setting sun nor the peace of cool wind made me calm as my mind was like a muddy river burdened by the works of the day. All of a sudden I heard my phone ringing. And the very moment I felt it like the most deadly noise that irritated me. I took the phone and that was the voice of my manager who just wanted to tell me that I am suspended from my job due to my recurring absence in the office. I felt for a while my super phone to be burnt out in a while.
